Cruz's work provides an astonishingly beautiful platform where immigrants' unique experiences, differences, and similarities can be expressed and shared.

In 2016 Lizania Cruz began asking flower workers to create flower arrangements in response to the United States immigration policy."Flowers for Immigration" hopes to show the beauty, resilience and creativity of these undocumented workers. Nancy, a native of Hidalgo, Mexico, picked the bright blue margarita in the center.
