My work is informed by the concept of topophilia, a strong sense of place, that compasses the sensations and aesthetic experiences bound to a particular space. My experience and connection to a place guide my multidisciplinary research in the ecological, geographical, anthropological, architectural, and oral histories disciplines. I explore the human condition, nature, the anthropocenic impact, memory, otherness, landscape and globalization. With different materials and references, I create an atemporal archaeological action about the studied zone. I develop a series of multi medium works, ranging from of drawings on paper and found objects, experimental printmaking and sculptures with antillean pre-colombian pottery techniques.
