Charuka Arora’s work is a documentation of her psychological & emotional thoughts/experiences as an urban woman. Often, it’s her quest for an identity as a woman in the society and exploration of her thoughts on contemporary social, political & cultural issues like gender equality, patriarchy etc. Often, creating works as a response from her own personal experiences & views. Arora's current body of work is mostly composed of representational paintings, collages, collages & drawings. Often, narrating stories and experiences through her figurative style. Inclined towards using resources from nature, she primarily explore the tactileness of paper and its endless possibilities.
