Kristin Moore explores the city’s architecture from hikes and overlooks. Moore began to examine the landscapes in and around LA from a point of atmospheric nostalgia. She often drove from California to Texas by Marfa, her muse. Her studio practice explores the cityscapes of the Western U.S.

Exhibitions and Awards: Kristin Moore, obtained her MFA from Otis College of Art + Design. She has been named one of Saatchi Art’s 20 Artists To Watch in 2020, and a top 10 finalist in the New Western Talent juried exhibition currently on view with Western Gallery in Dallas. Moore’s paintings can be found in collections across the U.S. and Europe. Her work has been exhibited at The Other Art Fair in Dallas, and in group exhibitions with Jonathan Ferrara Gallery in New Orleans, the Bolsky Gallery in Los Angeles, and The Yards Collective in New York, among others. She has had solo exhibitions in Los Angeles & Austin with an upcoming solo show at Commerce Gallery in Lockhart July 2020. Moore currently lives and works in Dallas, TX and is a studio artist at The Cedars Union.
